Answer and Explanation

Answer : (b)

Given that 2/5 of the Indians are females.

So, the remaining 3/5 are men.

3/5 of Indians = 24 Þ Indians = 40.

Non – Indian = 68.75 % of total strength.

Indian = (100 – 68.75) % = 31.25% = 5/16.

5/16 of total strength = 40

Total strength of parliament = 40*16/5 = 128

Non – Indians = 128 – 40 = 88
