Overdo & Overdue

Overdo means to exaggerate or to use to excess: ” Snobbish women usually overdo at social gatherings to be the center of attraction. .”

Overdue has the following meanings:-
1. A responsibility that was not paid on time: “My EMI is still overdue for the past two months for the bank loan. ”
2. Arriving late, after an appointed time: “The conference started two hours late because most of the dignitaries were overdue.”
