Luxuriant means fertile, abundant: “There was a luxuriant crop of clover in the fields.”She has a luxuriant growth of black curly hair.”
Luxurious , on the other hand, means exceedingly costly or self indulgent: “I would prefer to stay in a luxurious hotel though it cost much more than an ordinary hotel.”
