Difference Between Literal and LittoralLiteral
1. Being in accordance with, conforming to, or upholding the exact or primary meaning of a word or words: ” A translator is supposed to catch the soul of the original work because literal translation will neither be artistically creative nor will be near the creation of the original writer.”
Littoral on the other hand, means the region or zone between the limits of high and low tides of a shore: “There is a frequent reference to the handy littoral side of the sea in her most short stories.”
