Lineament & Liniment

Lineament means a distinctive shape, contour, or line; especially, of the face: “The lineament of the actor’s face made him look like a Grecian goddess.”
Liniment , on the other hand, means a medicinal fluid rubbed into the skin to soothe pain or to relieve stiffness: “You should immediately apply some liniment on your aching kneel to get some relief before you go to the doctor in the morning.”
