Difference between ladder,later and latterLadder means a series of stages by which you can make progress in a career or organization: “Most the time the politicians use their near ones as a ladder to reach the peak of success , but then they forget them altogether.”
Later means occurring after the expected or usual time: “Later on, I found out that Ram was stabbing me in the back by spreading baseless rumors about me.”
Latter is characterized as being the second of two items or concepts or the last of a list of items: “Ram and Sham are very intelligent twins. The former is an IAS and the latter is an IPS.”
