Inequity & Iniquity

Inequity means injustice, unfair treatment: “The High Court took a strong exception to the inequity of punishment awarded by the lower court to the innocent.”
Iniquity , on the other hand, means wickedness, being unfair or evil: “Most of Indian political leaders are infamous for indulging in corruption and iniquity.”
