Hoar means the icy particles often described as frost: “There was a ring of hoar around the bottle of the cold drink when placed out of the refrigerator.”
Hoer, on the other hand, is an individual who uses a specific garden instrument; such as, a long handled tool with a sharp blade that can be used for gardening: “I used to work as a hoer in a garden to collect money for my education when I was in college.”
Whore means a prostitute or an individual who sells sexual intercourse to a customer: “Poverty compels many women to become whores to earn their livelihood. “
