Difference Between haunch and hunchHaunch means the hip, buttock, and upper thigh in humans and animals: “The rider whipped the horse on the haunch to make it run faster.”
Hunch, on the other hand, has the following meanings:-
1. To bend forward in a position of crooked posture: “I have to hunch to read the screen of the computer due my weak eyesight.”
2. An intuitive sense regarding something that has happened or might happen: “I had a hunch that my brother would visit us in the Christmas holidays .”
