Apposite & Opposite

Apposite means especially well suited to the circumstances; strikingly appropriate and relevant: “Politicians need to be careful of their press interviews and make sure that they only give apposite answers.”
Opposite means placed or located directly across from something else or from each other: “The two houses are on opposite sides of the street.”
