Difference Between Pastor and Pasture Pastor means a spiritual leader or member of the clergy: “The pastor of the village church visits the ailing persons in the evening and prays for their early recovery.”

Pasture on the other hand, means a field or space of land devoted to raising grass and in which grazing livestock feed: “Many Indian young men are crazy to go abroad in search of greener pastures as they are not being paid handsome salaries here.”
“The pasture down the hill has hardly any green grass due to the failure of rains.”
