Licorice & Lickerish

Licorice is a confection made from or flavored with the root of a plant which is used as a flavoring in candy, liqueurs, tobacco, and medicines: ” This medicine is exclusively meant for children as it has been sweetened with licorice.”
Lickerish , on the other hand, means greedy, desirous; lecherous:”Helen has acted as a lickerish vamp in many films so convincingly that people do not believe her being very simple and respectful at functions.”
