Difference between Liberal,Libertarian and LibertineLiberal has the following meanings:-
1. Generous and open handed:”The employer is liberal in paying the servants bonus on all festivals.”
2. Broad minded, not traditional: “Jawahar Lal Nehru was known for his liberal and secular views.”
3. When capitalized, it is a member of a certain political party in the United Kingdom and in Canada: “The candidate of the Liberal party won the election by a good number of votes.”
Libertarian means a supporter of the principles of free will including unrestricted freedoms in thought, actions, etc.: “The Prime Minister is a libertarian who does not want any censor on the media.”
Libertine is an individual who is disdainful of convention and morality: “The noted Punjabi poet Shiv Kumar Batalvi is said to be a libertine as he had love affairs with many young ladies.”
