Euro-Zone GDP fell by 0.1% in the third quarter after shrinking by 0.2% in the second quarter while the economists believe that the recession could be dragged into the next year as well. Even the Netherlands economy shrank by 1.1% in the third quarter while the Austrian GDP shrank by 0.1% beating all expectations of growth. Economists predict a decline in the interest rates sooner or later.

Burma frees more the 450 prisoners before Barack Obama’s visit

 

According to the article, announcing the amnesty the latest in the series have coincided with high profile visits of foreign dignitaries to promote goodwill and bilateral relationship. Moving on the same lines Burmese authorities have freed more than 450 detainees as a goodwill gesture before the historic visit by President Obama. According to the sources the released detainees do not include any political dissidents. While the detailed identities of those released still remain unclear but all of them seem foreign nationals from China, Thailand and neighboring countries the sources said.
