The decision now lies with the Supreme Court and for the benefit of the masses, let’s hope they side with real democracy.

Making nuclear weapons for self and nuclear proliferation for others, have been the prime hobbies of US and Russia for the past sixty years. There have been no nuclear attacks since the infamous ‘Little Boy’ and that’s because we all saw what these bombs were capable of and what they could do. The current North Korean threat is a text book case for why there should be no nuclear bombs in the first place. All that it would take to decapitate the world is one unstable regime with nuclear arsenal. Thankfully, Pakistan has not become such a threat yet but the chances of that happening are not unlikely. India must learn from US’s reactions to avert a future calamity.
